A Golden Tribute to Ondo State at 50

On this historic and momentous occasion of the 50th anniversary of the creation of Ondo State, I extend my heartfelt and resounding congratulations to the great people of Ondo State as you commemorate five decades of identity, resilience, and purposeful progress since 3rd February 1976.
Ondo State stands today as a powerful testament to the vision, courage, and determination of its founding leaders and citizens. Over the past fifty years, the state has distinguished itself through its rich cultural heritage, intellectual excellence, agricultural strength, and the unyielding industrious spirit of its people. From education to governance, from commerce to culture, Ondo State has consistently produced men and women of integrity and impact who have shaped Nigeria and beyond.
This golden jubilee is not merely a celebration of years, but a celebration of endurance, unity, and achievement. It is a moment to honour the sacrifices of the past, applaud the progress of the present, and renew a collective commitment to a future defined by peace, innovation, prosperity, and inclusive development.
As Ondo State marks this remarkable milestone, may the next fifty years usher in greater opportunities, stronger institutions, and sustained advancement for all its people. May the Sunshine State continue to shine ever brighter as a beacon of excellence and pride within the Nigerian federation.
